For this project during Nikita’s time at Bensley, the central focus was upcycling, with the star suites created from restored train carriages. Sixteen abandoned wagons were transformed into luxurious guest suites, as well as a Spa and F&B spaces. 

Naturally, the narrative drew from the romance of train travel: the fictional story of young Somsak, a boy who dreamed of being a train conductor, and later travelled the world by rail. The touchpoints included everything from the project’s nomenclature, to station inspired wayfinding and collaterals such as vintage-style baggage tags. A delight!
